The Attorney plays a pivotal role in providing legal counsel, strategic guidance, and representation to our clients. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of relevant legal areas, effective case management skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal representation to clients in various legal proceedings, such as hearings, trials, arbitrations, and negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research to stay abreast of developments in the law and ensure the provision of accurate and up-to-date legal advice.
  • Consult with clients to understand their legal concerns, objectives, and expectations.
  • Offer clear and concise legal advice, explaining complex legal concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Manage a caseload, ensuring that all cases are handled efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
  • Analyze legal issues and provide recommendations based on a thorough examination of applicable laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of cases to formulate effective legal strategies.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff to ensure seamless case progression and client satisfaction.
  • Interface effectively with other attorneys within the firm to share knowledge and insights.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and addressing any concerns.
  • Update clients on legal developments that may impact their interests.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, including hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Prepare and present compelling legal arguments to support client positions.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and professional regulations.
  • Uphold confidentiality and attorney-client privilege in all interactions.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Colorado.
  • 5 years of relevant legal experience in property insurance, preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Commitment to maintaining continuing legal education and staying informed about changes in relevant laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
