Role Overview:
We are seeking skilled contractors to support a project involving the installation and configuration of gateway devices and sensors at retail locations nationwide. Each assignment will typically take about one hour onsite and requires basic IT hardware installation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow clear project instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure gateway devices onsite at client retail locations.
  • Install and configure sensors associated with the gateway.
  • Apply asset tags to client equipment following provided guidelines.
  • Take clear, detailed photos documenting key steps and final installation for project deliverables.
  • Follow installation guides and checklists to ensure compliance with client and Field Advantage standards.
  • Communicate professionally with Field Advantage dispatch and support teams for updates and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in IT equipment installation, low-voltage work, or similar technical field service work is preferred.
  • Ability to configure devices using basic networking instructions (Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity).
  • Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to take and upload photos, access project instructions, and complete checklists.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
  • Reliable transportation to and from client sites.
  • Must be punctual and professional in all client interactions.

Additional Information:

  • This is a 1099 contractor role.
  • Role is short term/project based
  • Compensation will be provided on a per-site basis.
  • Travel between sites may be required depending on project assignments.
  • Training material and remote support will be provided for project-specific procedures.
