Title: Warehouse Driver
Department: Warehouse
Supervisor: Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

General

1. Maintain valid Drivers License to drive company vehicles and pickup trucks as needed.
2. Work with the Director of Service to ensure the vehicle is in running condition and report any issues to the Service Department.
3. Be the primary person to close the office and warehouse on a daily basis.
4. Assist with light cleaning in the office: stock and clean coffee bar, maintain kitchen cleanliness, cleanup after events.

Warehouse Associate

1. Inventory management – work alongside Operations Manager to ensure inventory is in its correct place.
2. Receive parcel and LTL shipments and check them in against the system.
3. Pick pack parcel and LTL shipments.
4. Use UPS WorldShip to handle outbound pick/pack.

Loading / Unloading truck

1. Load and secure equipment onto truck using blankets, cardboard corners, and proper strapping
2. Separate IOT from finisher and strap individually while maintaining integrity of equipment.
3. Ensure trucks are supplied with proper straps, supplies, and tools needed for delivery / pickup needs.
4. Unload and safely take equipment to designated area. This may include pushing, pulling, utilizing dollies and/or stair climbers
5. Remove, load, and secure equipment from customers' facilities, if applicable
6. Obtain customer signature and date

Transportation

1. Responsible for equipment during transport in truck from dock to dock and to location within destination.
2. Effectively navigate from point to point to ensure time is not wasted.
3. Coordinate with dispatch with route, arrival, and departure times from location(s).

Company Representation

1. Dress appropriately based on the Employee handbook for drivers / field employees
2. Represent NDP in the best light while on the clock, especially in docks and customer locations, whether customers are present or not. 
3. Handle all situations with a professional and courteous attitude.

Requirements

1. High School diploma or GED
2. Prior driving experience a plus
3. Ability to consistently lift/pull/push 100+ pounds
4. Ability to consistently bend, stoop and twist
5. Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance required
6. Good driving record is mandatory
7. Good time management skills
