What You’ll Do
As a Senior Quantitative Data Analyst, you'll take charge of transforming complex data into strategic insights that drive both our product innovation and client solutions. Here’s a glimpse into the impactful work you’ll lead:
- Unleash the Power of Data: Develop and refine SQL queries, integrate datasets, and maintain data integrity to ensure that our clients have reliable, actionable insights.
- Bring Stories to Life Through Visualization: Craft compelling dashboards and visual narratives using Tableau, Excel, and other tools to make complex concepts clear and actionable.
- Revolutionize Energy Market Modeling: Create and enhance advanced models, from wholesale energy risk evaluations to cutting-edge energy storage dispatch simulations using AI and machine learning.
- Drive Market Research Excellence: Dive deep into renewable energy markets, analyze correlations between variables like weather and prices, and produce insightful reports that guide major strategic decisions.
We’re looking for a creative thinker with a passion for data and a drive to solve energy’s biggest challenges. If you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative discipline such as math, engineering, statistics, or computer science.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in energy, finance, or data modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, R, or similar tools—and perhaps some expertise in machine learning or Monte Carlo modeling.
- A talent for translating complex data into simple, actionable insights.
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
